A passionate weirdo with an eye for detail

I am a designer and anthropologist with a passion for the earth, the brain and human behavior. My anthropology grad work focused on communication and social dynamics first in primates (studying monkeys in Indonesia and at the San Diego Zoo) then in cultural anthropology studying technology and human relationships. My research background naturally segued into systems thinking, strategic problem solving, and asking the right questions.

When I'm not designing, being a Photoshop wizard or going down Figma/Asana rabbit holes, I’m exploring new landscapes, navigating a path of personal growth, searching for wildlife, trying to get animals to let me pet them (unrelated to the wildlife hobby, I’m not one of those try-to-pet-an-elk-in-Yellowstone people), googling how to not kill plants, and searching for the perfect vanilla latte.

I’m ambidextrous which means I’m well practiced at tapping into both sides of my brain. Empathy, intuition and creativity, paired with research and system-driven organization, culminates in a well-rounded and interdisciplinary approach to design.
