City of Boston: 311 App

Through the Civic Innovation Fellowship for Coding It Forward, I was chosen by the City of Boston Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) team to work with the creative director to lead the creative buildout for the Boston: 311 app, a community wide service that provides residents easy access to non-emergency city services.

The project’s objective was to create a simplified set of icons that worked at small sizes array of mobile devices allowing for easy access for a variety of users. This involved multiple rounds of ideation and review between the Mayor’s office, DoIT content teams, developers and the creative team.
